Riots And Helping Out The Homeless

White police officers shooting blacks seem to be the big news lately.  Because of a few people that use racism to make money and gain power, protests and riots are occurring.  I talk about these riots in my latest video blog and I also give an idea of how we can help out the homeless without aiding in their bad behavior.

Say "no" to the Expatriate Terrorist Act and "yes" to the Constitution

On this evening's show, Travis Pope and The Oklahoma Tomcat talked about Ted Cruz's bill that would strip citizenship from any American that fights with ISIS (AKA ISIL). While this sounds like a good bill, Travis Pope and The Oklahoma Tomcat disagrees with it. Article III Section 3 of the Constitution already gives Congress power to deal with treason:
"Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort. No person shall be convicted of treason unless on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open court.
The Congress shall have power to declare the punishment of treason, but no attainder of treason shall work corruption of blood, or forfeiture except during the life of the person attainted."
Notice that it says that "Congress shall have power to declare the punishment of treason." Ted Cruz's bill would take this out of the hands of Congress and that would be wrong. Lets tell the Senate to follow the law of the land. Contact your Senator and tell them to vote no to Ted Cruz's bill and vote yes to Article III Section 3 of the US Constitution.

ALS, Love, War, and Helping Others

I know a lot of people who refuse to do the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge or donate any money for research because they are against Embryonic Stem Cell Research.  I totally understand because I am also against Embryonic Stem Cell Research.  I have just uploaded a video blog to let Christians know that there are medical research institutes that do not use embryonic stem cells and how they can help find a cure for ALS and promote research without the use of embryonic stem cells.  I also talk about Iraq and helping out people in other countries.

Rioters don't love

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  How is everyone doing?  Things are doing good here.  I have been busy with work and a new internet radio show that I am co-hosting on called Political T&T.  I still have a lot of improving to do on the show.  I can't wait til we start getting people calling in because it is hard to talk for 2 hours without having different people commenting back or disagreeing.  I know there are people who may be shocked that I have trouble talking for 2 hours but remember, when I am talking to people in person, they talk back. lol  The radio is much different than talking to people in person. I do give radio talk show hosts a lot of credit.  The job is a lot harder than it appears.

I have come across a lot of liberals who support the rioters in Ferguson, MO.  Don't tell me that they are protesters and have the right to protest either.  The people who are stealing, destroying property, and hurting people are not protesting.  They are rioters and they don't care about Mr. Brown at all.  They hate the people in Ferguson, MO and hate everyone who doesn't think like they do.  They only are about one person and that is them self.  Anyone who supports riots, hates their neighbors because this type of action takes away other people's rights.  The people who is having their things stolen and destroyed has nothing to do with the officer who shot Mr. Brown.

Listen, I am all for peaceful protests.   Even if I don't agree with what you are protesting, I will always stand for your right to protest PEACEFULLY.  But the minute that you start taking away other people's rights, you will become my worst enemy.  I can never support hate towards other people and that is what rioters are doing.

Take care and God Bless,

A wife's day off

Greetings in the name of our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. How are y'all doing? I pray that this blog finds y'all in good health and spirits. Things are going good here at the Jones household. I miss the cooler weather that we had last week, but I am grateful that the summer hasn't been as hot as last year.

Today, my wife got a day off from the house. She left for the day to do whatever she wanted while I took care of the kids and the things around the house. It is something I have been wanting to for my wife for a long time but have never had the opportunity. I know that being a stay-at-home mom is the hardest job in the world and it is a job that doesn't offer a day off. You don't even get a sick day when you are a stay-at-home mom. The problem is, with our lifestyle, Saturdays is the only day that I have to be able to get the thousands of projects I have piled up done. But this weekend offered a perfect opportunity for me to tend to the kids and my wife to have a day off. I did have a few things that I wanted to get done, but I would be able to do them while the kids played outside.  Lol, yea right. Well, my wife left the house this morning after breakfast and I kicked the kids outside. I got a few things done but nowhere near what I wanted. Normal children are high maintenance, but an autistic child is very high maintenance. But you know what? It did turn out to be a great day after all. After lunch I tried to do some laundry and my daughter wanted to get the slip and slide out. I was getting irritated because I knew I would have to stop doing what I needed to do to help her. Now for those who don't know, we do laundry by hand. So it isn't like I can put the laundry in the washer and than help her. But she promised that she can set it up herself. I knew she couldn't but I said OK. Sure enough, she didn't know how to set it up and I had to stop the laundry and help her. After it got set up, she started ... kind of slipping and sliding. I had to laugh. My daughter would run and then gracefully fall onto the slip and slid. This made it so she couldn't slid very far. While this was going on, my autistic son was wanting me to push him on the swing. I was getting nothing done. But my heart was softening and I started thinking, 'What is more important?' So I teased my daughter about how she slides and decided to show my daughter how it's done. So I started slip sliding with her. Than my son started to join us. Oh, he was having a time of his life. It really turned out to be a good day.

As parents, we often let our busy schedule and busy days take over our life. Our families lifestyle really keeps us busy. The only electricity we have is two solar panels to charge our cell phones and our laptops. We do everything the old fashioned way. This does take more time. But we do need to keep in mind what is important and make sure we always make time for it. There is nothing more important than family. We need to make sure that we set time aside for family and just have fun. Even if it means to set a chore aside for later.

Well, it is getting late and my wife has returned from her day out. It is time for me to make time for her. Y'all have a great day.

Take care and God Bless,
